In this release, Joe has captured this icon of the War in one of it's most fulfilling roles, bringing a load of grunts back from the bush. This is a combat workhorse with muddy skids, stowed seats, chipped paint, patched bullet holes and a precious cargo of tired, tattered, dirty, but happy infantrymen. The crew chief and gunner keep a watchful eye out for any who would stand between these men and home, as does a Huey gunship that flies shotgun in the background. Aircraft Type: Bell UH-1H(D)

Aircraft Type: Bell UH-1C (B and M models also available) Available in standard or customized versions with personal aircraft
markings and armament choice. Shipping Every effort will be made to insure safe shipment of your print, occasionally
however, conditions beyond my control may cause damage or delay in transit. If
your print arrives damaged, please contact me immediately and the situation will
be rectified at no cost to you. Framing Framing is of course at the discretion of the individual. Because of the
white border surrounding the print, matting is not necessary. Aluminum frames go
very well with these prints. Glass or Plexiglas will enhance and protect the
print. About Your Print Your print is one of a limited edition of 1,000 produced from an original
painting by Joe Kline. The number in the lower left-hand corner indicates your
print within the edition. These are generally issued in the next lowest
consecutive number, unless a client specifies a specific number within the
series. Only 1,000 signed and numbered prints of this work will ever be
released. I have tried to capture the character of the aircraft depicted in a way that
will be technically accurate, aesthetically pleasing and in an attitude that
will best show-off unit markings. I have attempted to make the background as
"generic" as possible for Vietnam so they would have the widest
possible appeal. Your print will be produced with permanent inks on 100 Lb. Archival paper. About Personalized Prints Army helicopters used in Vietnam lend themselves to personalizing because
they where generally a standard color scheme. If your print will be
personalized, I will do my best to duplicate your aircraft based on the time
period, my own reference data, and information you may have supplied with your
order, Most customizing has been done with acrylic paints. These paints are very
color-fast and durable, may be subject to scratching, so extra care should be
taken when handling these prints. If you are not completely satisfied with your print, you can return it for a
full refund. Any questions, comment or suggestions are always welcome. |
