JOHN DEER

The one here is of me in Japan letting the bone heal after I got hit. The other two, in color too, are of the helicopter after I got hit. Since the aircraft commander gave my seat to a lieutenant I was sitting in back shooting next to the left side door gunner as we hovered ten feet above the bunker complex when I got hit. All the dark stuff you see is blood. I was everywhere.

John Deer with a leg up on life!

Even the M-60 round under his hand is covered with my blood. Notice
all the blood splattering on the seat posts?
