FLAG RAISING
Rummaging through old photographs today, looking for pictures of our rat terrier that died suddenly 12/22, and came across this: It was taken the same time as the mud puddle surfing pictures I sent along earlier, and features the same dirt piles that were in place in the HHD area. This would have been early in 1967, I'm sure. Precisely when I'm not sure at all. It was obviously posed -- and we called it Flag Raising at Mt Phu Loi. Just a bunch of folks screwing around. The gaudy t-shirt brings back memories, so I think the guy lying "dead" just below the flag is probably me. Don't remember the other folks. Don't remember who took the picture, though it was obviously on my camera. Whatever entertainment we could find, I guess.
