Aboard the Point Cruz in route to Vietnam October 1965. We assembled the aircraft then flew them off at Vung Tau.

Taken in the early days at Phu Loi - fall of 1965. 

If you look in the background you can see everything was still all tents. 

I don't recall who the pilot walking away was since the purpose was to photograph the gunship.
