THE FLAG OF FREEDOM

Red White and Blue
Comes to the Nam
Bringing
me and you

Down
the trail Comes the single Star
A message
Govern your own country
Who
do you think you are

LISTEN CONG
Freedom is right It has made
us
Wealthy powerful eager to fight
NO
With your FREEDOM
comes too much change
Pulls our people away from
THE SIMPLE THINGS

Simple is
The way we have lived
We've little of monetary value
Only LIVES to GIVE

DAMN YOUR BOMBS
They've landed on Hanoi

Now
It's down
The
HO CHI MINH TRAIL
With
our Men and Boys
G.I.
Look
Your Flag
is being ripped to shreds
FIFTY THOUSAND
of your young Men are dead

Don't you understand
This is my land American

If your FREEDOM
is that GRAND

Open  your fist  Show us
your hand
We fear

You have traveled
from the other side of this EARTH
For the sole purpose
of controlling our place
OF BIRTH
