REQUEST FOR YOUR HELP - FROM ARROWHEAD FILMS  Posted 09/26/03

As you know, Southwest Airlines has been a wonderful supporter of In The Shadow of The Blade and they've come through once again to help many veterans and families get to Austin for the premiere who otherwise couldn't afford to attend. We still have one important guest left, though, and Southwest doesn't cover his area, because he lives in Hawaii! This guy was a DUSTOFF medic in Vietnam, and we all know what that means: he's truly an unsung hero.

I'm just wondering if there's an angel out there anywhere who has air miles or a couple of tickets they could donate to cover this guy's air travel from Hawaii to Austin and back in November? He was filmed in Georgia as part of our journey across the nation with a restored Huey, and he's such a great example of the kind of person we set out to honor. I know it would mean everything to him to be able to attend the hero's reception these guys are going to get in Austin.

Thanks for posting this. As you always say, ask the Universe!

Love, Cheryl Fries
