128th Assault Helicopter Company Reunion

All Personnel,
Heads-Up!

Plans are unfolding for a 128th reunion in conjunction with the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association reunion scheduled for Dallas, Texas July 1 to 5, 2004. The reunion will be held at the Adams Mark Hotel. Preliminary info for the VHPA reunion has been posted at http://www.vhpareunion.org/

I contacted VHPA HQ today and they said that it is too early to schedule unit mini-reunions. I should be able to do that in early January. In looking at the schedule it appears that a good time would be the afternoon of Saturday, July 3rd.

I will attempt to have adjacent tables assigned to the 128th for the final banquet which is usually the highlight of the VHPA reunion.

The hotel is NOT accepting reunion reservations yet and registration for the reunion with VHPA HQ has NOT been opened as yet. I will keep you informed. I just wanted to provide advance info so you can make your summer plans now. Bill McDonald, 128th web master extraordinaire, will be posting updated reunion info as it develops. I will be providing info on how 128th members other than pilots/VHPA members may register and attend. For those who have not made a reunion, I advise, this is a family event.

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season!

REUNION PLANS BEGUN FOR RENO   February 2005 - 128th AHC & 173rd AHC

Plans have now begun for bringing the Tomahawks and the Robin Hoods together for a mini-reunion in Reno, Nevada in February 2005. Holding it at this time of year should bring opportunities for members and their families to take advantage of the great skiing in the area that time of the season. We will be posting information as to the exact dates and hotel information before this summer. We wanted everyone to have a heads up for their personal planning - so keep the first part of February open.

Anyone wishing to help with the planning please contact me. Bill McDonald angelnet@citlink.net
